blue mountains eco tourTour itinerary:

After setting off from Sydney we drive directly to the Blue Mountains. First stop is at "Euroka Clearing" at Glenbrook. This place is located deep in the National Park at the base of the mountains. It is here where we photograph Eastern Grey Kangaroos in the wild. We are often entertained by the kookaburras and cockatoos flying amongst the huge strands of Eucalyptus trees.

Continuing on your guide will give you details on the early aboriginal settlement of the mountains. We give you a balanced history of the region pre-white settlement and also over the last 200 years, since the first recorded European discovery of east coast of Australia by Captain James Cook in 1770.

Our next stop is at Wentworth Falls, located at the head of the mighty Jamison Valley. A breathtaking bush walk down to Princess Rock look out then around the undercliff /over cliff track will show case great views down into the canyon.

After lunch* we view the famous "Three Sisters" at Echo Point, Katoomba. From here we walk down into the Jamison Valley. Your walk will take you through temperate rainforest passing by Katoomba Falls.. On this walk you get more fantastic views of the Three Sisters. We ride the Scenic Railway* back to the top of the Jamison Valley. This train(looks more like a rollercoaster) has the honour of being the world's steepest incline railway. railway or walk on around the valley boardwalk to ride up the relatively new Gondola called the Scenic Cableway. Those who would prefer a shorter walk can opt to take both rides.
Leaving Katoomba we follow the Cliff Top drive with views out over the Megalong Valley and Narrow Neck peninsula.
We then travel to Blackheath and visit Govetts Leap lookout with its awesome views over the Grose Valley. From here we also see one of Australias longest uninterrupted waterfals, Bridal Veil Falls.
